Our engines don't make much torque down low and especially when you arent making any boost (free revving at 6k for example) For that reason, I keep a stock flywheel and a stock driveshaft in my car. It may rob a little power but at the same time it helps carry the car off of the line and to better 60ft times because its more difficult to lug the heavier mass. I would say if you want to better the 60ft times and don't plan on changing anything mechanical you might look into getting a 2-step setup. It simplifies the launch process so much and takes a lot of pressure off of yourself at the line trying to target an RPM while handling everything else.
